A robust and beautiful desk or reading accessory, the Readwell is an upright book holder designed both to securely hold pages flat for reading and also allow the user to turn pages without a lot of fuss. Simply push the brass book rest away to enlage the opening, set your book in place, and pull the book rest towards you and the acrylic page holder just until the pages are comfortably readable. When turning a page, just pull the book up and out of the book stand, turn the page, and ease it back into place. Adjustments are generally minimal yet easy to do when necessary.

The Readwell book stand accommodates a wide range of book sizes, and can handle the heaviest tomes with ease and stability. Fully extended the book holder has an approximate opening size of 2.25" (57 mm). The acrylic page holder slips into a slot and can be easily removed if it isn't needed. The book rest can be used as a stand for tablets, phones, or e-readers as well. We've included a wide array of book sizes in the product photos to give you an idea of the range of use of the book stand.

The Readwell book stand is made from solid black walnut and solid brass components for durability and longevity. They are lovingly fabricated (mostly by hand) in our South Dakota shop. Our products are designed to use and pass down, this book holder being no exception, so with that in mind we choose materials that will hold up to that requirement. All brass surfaces are uncoated and will patina over time, adding to the character and beauty of the Readwell.
