The Craftsman Mini utilizes microsuction pads on the base to secure it to your writing surface so it stays anchored when you're inserting and removing your pen. The pads are repositionable and easily cleaned if they become dirty and lose their effectiveness.

The Mini comes with a Standard size insert, but it is a size unique to this model as the internal opening is a bit smaller than some other Mini models, coming in at 1" diameter rather than 1 1/8" diameter. This model will best fit medium to small pens, although some large pens with rounded or tapered caps may work just fine.
